About Program
Interior Design provides a wide range of excellent career prospects from residential, retail and industrial projects to corporate, leisure and hospitality design.
The course is an interdisciplinary programme of study, concerned with the interaction of design ideas with technology. Through set design projects and lectures students are introduced to the basic principles of Interior Design including: drawing, presentation, surveying, materials, construction and computer aided design.
Using drawing and 2/3-D computer modelling, students will develop designing skill
Objectives
- To develop talent among students in the area of designing arts
- To gain insight and understanding of approaches to design
- To facilitate use of technology in designing expression
Teaching Methodology
The classes are held thrice a week. The training provided is a 70-30 mix of practical and theoretical training respectively.
Assessments
The modules are assessed by regular assignment and project submissions made by the students. Emphasis is laid on practical application.

Admission Procedure
Admission into the Interior program is open to students of all nationalities with respect to the submission of the following requirements:
- One of the following:
- High School Certificate
- O’ levels (IGCSE/GCE)
- GED (General Education Diploma)
- 3 color passport
- Clear passport copy
- Complete Application Form with all requirements
- Students must have a good command of spoken English

** CEE will only provide contact details of the transport companies to the students. The students opt their own provider and negotiate pick/ drop services with them directly.
NOTE: Students who complete this short term course successfully can choose to go on to pursuing a
Diploma in Interior Design offered at CEE. Such students will receive the benefit of NOT being charged the
registration and application fee (currently AED1,500) for joining the Diploma program.
