Course Outline
Ultimately, most highly motivated, well-educated people in administration wish to fulfil a
senior management role in which they have to understand and effectively coordinate the work of
major divisions of a company or group of companies. The Professional Diploma in Executive Business
Management is an advanced program specifically meant for those who have already gained a recognised
diploma or degree and who now wish to study a course that prepares them for a senior management position.
The emphasis during the course is on those aspects, which are essential for effective management within commercial
or non-commercial organisations.

Entry Requirements
Students applying for the program would benefit more readily if
they meet with one of the following:
- An appropriate Diploma
- A Recognized First Degree
- Applicants must have experience of working in a management position
- An appropriate professional qualification
Assessment
Student progress is monitored by continuous assessment. A variety
of assessment methods will be used, for example, assignments, business
style reports, case studies, logbooks, observations, oral presentations,
personal audits, portfolios, role-play and projects. Students are
graded at either Distinction, Merit , Pass or Fail.
Length of Course
The program is designed to allow the student to complete it in as
little as 6 months of classroom study. The student can complete
the program at a pace decided between themselves and the student
counsellor. Learners may take individual units of he qualification
which can be certificated by a Certificate of Achievement.
Certification
On successfully completing the program, students are awarded the BTEC Advanced Professional Diploma
in Executive Business Management issued by Edexcel, United Kingdom
Status of Qualification
Advanced vocational qualification which may provide exemption or entry to other
post-graduate courses - subject to age, and possibly, relevant experience.
What after the EBM
Students may enroll for the Dual Diploma in Executive Human Resources Management. Students may gain exemptions into other post-graduate courses
- subject to age, and possibly, relevant experience.
Fee
AED 19,800/- for the entire program inclusive of Registration, books,
course materials, assessment, evaluations and the final Professional
Diploma. (AED 2800 registration + AED 17000 course fee)
